Pick Your Own Cherries! 

Strawberries 
Our Sweet Cherries are ripe and ready for picking!  Bring the family out for an afternoon of fun and explore our cherry orchard!  Remember to look for the deepest darkest colored cherries for the most flavor. 
 
Bring your own contaners to pick or purchase baskets for picking in our store! Remember, if you bring your own baskets and buckets to get them weighed inside our store before you head out to pick.

Cherries are packed with health benefits:
Anthocyanins - Reduce inflammation and inhibit cancerous tumor growth.
Flavanols & Flavonols - Improve blood flow, heart/brain health, lowers blood pressure and reduce cancer risk.

Studies have shown the cherry fruit to have plenty of health benefits. These are known to provide pain relief for people who suffer from arthritis. It is said that eating 20 tart cherries in a day can prove to fight inflammation effectively.
 
Red cherries are also very high in melatonin. These are known to destroy the toxins that cause diseases. The cherry fruit is also high in antioxidants that help to fight cancer and heart disease.

Cherry Cobbler
 
1 qt. fresh cherries, pitted
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 T. melted butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sifted flower
1 T. cornstarch
2/3 c. boiling water
 
 Cover bottom of an 8-inch pan with fruit. Mix 3/4 c. sugar, butter, baking powder, salt, milk, and flour together. Pour over cherries. Mix remaining 1 c. of sugar and cornstarch. Sprinkle over mixture. Pour water over top.
Bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
